WI vs IND: India opening batter KL Rahul tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday before of the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies.
Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was notified about Rahul during the Board’s Apex Council meeting in Mumbai. From July 22 to July 27, there will be three ODIs between India and the West Indies. The five-match Twenty20 International series will begin on July 29 and end on August 7.
Rahul selected for the T20I team against the West Indies. And was also scheduled to take a fitness test in a few days. Rahul recently underwent surgery and has begun training at the NCA in Bengaluru.
Therefore, the opening batter is unlikely to go to the West Indies after testing positive for COVID-19.

In contrast, Team India travelled in Trinidad on Wednesday to play the West Indies in a white-ball series.
The Indian team has revealed for the ODI and T20I series. Both squads are missing veteran players like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.
