WI vs IND: Hardik Pandya achieves rare T20I feat
WI vs IND: Hardik Pandya recorded the rare double of 500 runs and 50 wickets at the third T20I match against the West Indies in St. Kitts.
After a fifty-run opening stand between Kyle Mayers and Brandon King, Hardik Pandya bowled King to become the sixth man from India to reach 50 T20I wickets. The last player to reach the landmark was Ravindra Jadeja, who accomplished the feat in the previous T20I.
But Hardik Pandya also achieved the double of 500 runs and 50 wickets in T20Is, becoming the 11th player in men’s cricket and the 30th overall to accomplish the feat.

Deepti Sharma, who has 521 runs and 65 wickets in T20Is. She is the only other Indian to have completed this unusual double.
Hardik is the most recent player to play in a T20I among the men who have achieved this feat, having first represented India in 2016.
In limited-overs cricket, Pandya has been in strong form with the ball this season. With two four-wicket hauls, he has eight T20 wickets and six ODI wickets.
Pandya bowled a superb spell of 4-0-19-1 on Tuesday in St. Kitts to contain the West Indies. The West Indies openers put up a half-century partnership before he gave India the breakthrough.
