Talented Shubman Gill will play for Glamorgan for the remainder of the English county season, joining a large contingent of Indian players, including Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been playing professionally in the UK.

Gill, who has so far played 11 Tests and also 9 ODIs for India. He has won back-to-back Player of the Series awards in ODIs against Zimbabwe and the West Indies.

Moreover, with 103 fifties in his past six 50-over games, he has been in fantastic form lately.

He is also an integral part of the Indian Test squad.

Gill will play for Glamorgan for the remainder of the county season, pending visa approval, according to ESPNCricinfo. Glamorgan competes in English county’s Division 2.
