Chennai Blitz started their season with a thrilling 3-2 win over Kochi Blue Spikers. The team initially trailed 1-2 in the contest. They then made a stunning comeback to win the next two sets to clinch the victory. Under a new coach in Argentinian Ruben Wolochin, the team will look to continue their momentum. Blitz’s skipper Naveen Raja Jacob was adjudged the player of the match in the previous game. He will look to carry forward the same form and rally his team.
The Mumbai Meteors had a disappointing outing in their first0ever match in the league. Playing against a stong Calicut Heroes, they lost 1-4. They are currently at the bottom of the points table. The team led by Karthik is eager to register their first victory in the league.
