IPL 2022: RCB pacer Josh Hazelwood claims worst figures of season

IPL 2022: Josh Hazelwood of the Royal Challengers Bangalore picked up an unwelcome record in the Indian Premier League 2022 on Friday.

The Australian speedster set a dubious record by bowling the most costly spell in the ongoing IPL 15 against Punjab Kings at the CCI-Brabourne Stadium. Punjab Kings batsmen hammered RCB bowler for 64 runs in his quota of four overs in the 60th match of IPL 15 at the CCI-Brabourne Stadium. Overall, Hazlewood had a difficult day at the office, as he returned without a wicket.

Hazlewood scored 22 runs in his opening over of the match. He struck for 24 runs in his final over.

Hazlewood also set the IPL record for the lowest stats by an RCB bowler. Shane Watson had previously held the record.

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 15. After defeating the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 54 runs.

Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone’s whirlwind knocks propelled PBKS to a massive total of 209 and a decisive victory.
