IPL 2022: Fans send gifts, virtually meet their favourite Delhi Capitals stars

IPL 2022: When the Delhi Capitals players arrived at their team hotel in Mumbai before of their final league match against the Mumbai Indians, they were greeted with a slew of gifts from their fans.

With the IPL 15 held outside of New Delhi, fans expressed their support. With drawings, posters, handwritten comments. And presents, leaving the players overwhelmed by their fans’ affection. Because the Delhi Capitals have not played in their home city for the past three seasons, fans have found another way to show that the players are always on their minds during the season. Fans sent their hand-picked gifts to the Delhi Capitals’ office in Delhi, which then sent to the squad in Mumbai.

In addition, fans had the opportunity to communicate virtually. With Captain Rishabh Pant, Head Coach Ricky Ponting, and other members of the Delhi Capitals camp. Fans displayed their artwork, danced, sung songs, and spoke personalised poetry for the team.

After losing by 5 wickets against Mumbai Indians on Saturday, the Delhi Capitals finished fifth in the IPL 2022.
