FIFA WC Squads: FIFA World Cup Qatar: All 32 nations are scrambling their heads with injuries ahead of coveted FIFA World Cup 2022. FIFA has set November 14 deadline to submit squads for the tournament gets underway in Qatar on November 20. The unusual winter start was brought in place to avoid the intense heat of the Middle East in summer. Brazil has announced their official 26-member squad. The coaches of the 32 teams were, initially, tasked to submit a provisional squad with a maximum of 55 players which can include four goalkeepers. However, each of the national teams will be required to send a final squad. It can contain a maximum of 26 players with three goalkeepers in the list. FIFA has set the deadline of the final submission to November 14 at 19:00 in Qatar time.
Furthermore, FIFA has asked all clubs to release players by November 13. The national teams will have to report to Qatar at least five days prior to their first match.

Japan became the first team to announce its squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022 on Monday. Head coach Hajime Moriyasu announced his 26-man squad which saw most of Japan’s established players being named in the squad. Midfielder Genki Haraguchi and forward Yuya Osako, a part of theWorld Cup in Russia, were left out of the squad.
Japan is a part of Group E which includes 2010 Champions Spain, four-time champions Germany and Costa Rica.

FIFA WC Squads: France take worst-hit; Lionel Messi injury scare for Argentina
Defending champions France have taken the worst-hit ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022. 2018 World Cup star playmaker N’Golo Kante and attacking midfielder Paul Pogba have been ruled out of the quadrennial showpiece event while veteran defender Raphael Varane remains doubtful after picking up a leg injury at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi, meanwhile, suffered an injury scare due to an inflamed Achilles tendon during his time with French record champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) but is expected to be fit for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
